And Then There Were Four

We're creating this blog because it's the cool thing to do when people are having a baby. Just kidding, really we already have a hard enough time keeping up with everyone we want to, and our lives are about to get even more wonderfully busy. We can't wait - and we want you guys to be able to share in it too, so we both plan on reporting on it. Read at your own risk, and hopefully you'll enjoy it!

Blah

Not gonna lie.....life around here has been rough lately so not much to write about today. Rough for many reasons but just rough. Stressful working on childcare issues, physically sick from exhaustion, financial woes, to do list is long enough to keep me busy until 2014 (and still growing)....just rough. But............I know we have lots to be thankful and grateful for. Some pictures to brighten my day

Katie, if I can help out with Ben, I would be happy to. I don't know if you can drop him off here or if that is way too inconvenient. One big problem around here is that people live so far from each other and it impacts the way we live, relationships, etc. especially because everyone is very busy all the time. I wish you could lighten your load. I was fortunate enough not to have to work when we had one child and Steve decided to go to grad school. Plus our second one was born during those five years. But my mother-in-law was close by, we lived bare bones and no doubt you are, and Steve worked part-time for his Dad in addition to his TA and the UW. It was a very rough time finacially, we had even dropped our insurance policy! ButGod saw us through it. It has given me real sympathy for couples who are doing this and if it wasn't for the fact that we had family and friends living very close by, I probably wouldn't have survived. I spent way too much time crying and was very tense. Anyway, if there is anything, I can help with. My grandaughter will be here all next week. She'd probably love to play with Ben, she just turned 5. Talk to you later, still waiting for that mall visit!
